The kerosene lamp, reimagined

Mobility meets familiarity with Kero Table Light by noun studio of San Francisco. Led by Elvin Chu, noun studio brings a modern touch to the iconic kerosene lamp. Like it’s oil-powered predecessors, Kero features a prominent handle that beautifully frames the light. The conical base lifts the light off the ground for easy cord wrapping during transport. Kero’s generously sized diffuser emits a warm glow in all directions, fit with an adjustable dimmer to control the intensity depending on your mood and environment.

Made to move throughout the home, the Kero Table Light is perfect for adding supportive lighting at your work desk during the day, to an ambient glow for al fresco dinners on your patio. Kero is there whenever and wherever you need it.

I'm using it as a bedroom light. It feels like great quality and looks good in my space. The adjustable brightness levels are well-thought out and feels like works well in any spot. The big thing I really don't like is a lot of the description of this lamp has stuff like "You can carry it from room to room". This made me mistakenly believe that you literally could because it had a battery in it. There is no battery in it. If you carry it from room to room, you still have to plug it in. I think it's slightly deceptive marketing, since they hide the cord in some of their pictures. Either way, still overall happy with my purchase.

I love the whimsical, modern

I love the whimsical, modern take on a lantern design, and the red color adds to the fun. I also love that I can adjust the amount of light, and the light source is a warm tone.

A special addition to our home.

Love the minimal protective packaging the lamp arrived in. The lamp dims and can also be very bright if desired. My only problem is the dimmer switcher. In our case it would be more functional if it were closer to the lamp. We’re using the switcher on top of a table, but because of where the switcher is located on the lamps cord, we have to wrap extra cord that lays on the table to be able to use it. Maybe there’s a reason for why the switcher is positioned on the cord that way, but I wish there was a solution where I could just turn the lamp on and off from a switch on the table without all that extra thick cord. Nonetheless, the piece is a beautiful functional statement. Well worth the wait for it to be ‘made to order. ’
